A documentary that takes the subject of death as its theme, but from the point of view of life. If death is an immutable fact, why not face it more naturally?
To demystify this taboo, the project uses the perspective of palliative care, the practice of humane and compassionate care for patients with terminal illnesses, so that they can live as comfortably as possible. Throughout the plot, however, it will be possible to understand that palliative care can (and should) be applied not only to patients who are in their last days, but also to all of us as a standard, breaking with the logic of "remediate" and prioritizing "prevention".
By following the reports and the routine of professionals who work directly with palliative care, along with an anthropological and philosophical study on the subject "death" from the point of view of ordinary people, we raise the debate: why do we avoid talking about the only part of life we are absolutely sure we can't avoid? Why do we ignore a culture of prevention, opting instead for a culture of desperately trying to reverse the irreversible?
