Monlo is the younger son of a great warrior. He lives in a nomadic tribe in the Mongolian steppe.

Everything changes when Mono’s tribe is massacred in an ambush by YingSin’s horde. During the havoc, he falls and looses his memory due to the emotional and physical trauma.

Monlo is rescued alive and is raised by an excentric old shaman (who, he later discovers, is his long time missing grandmother). When Monlo learns the truth about his past and remembers everything, he decides to go on a journey to become the greatest of warriors.

In this journey he meets his old friend Ohkin, which he learns has survived the tribe’s destruction as well, but was raised by a band of thieves.

After a long travel trough the Central Asia and China, Monlo, his pet Gonlo and his friend Ohkin are ready to fight in the “Great Tournament”, in which they’ll fight the greatest villain of all: YingSin, the responsible for the terrifying fate of their tribe.
