LOOP
SCI-FI/DRAMA FEATURE FILM
Daniel, the protagonist, sees Maria Luiza, his girlfriend, dying after the attack of an unknown man. Daniel becomes obsessed with the idea of going back to the past to prevent the tragedy. More than a movie about time travel, LOOP is basically a movie about repentance. A story that gives our main character something that many people dream about: a second chance. It remains to be seen whether this will mean Daniel's redemption or his destruction.
Inspired by realistic science fiction, such as "Ex Machina" (Alex Garland) and "Inception" (Christopher Nolan), LOOP is about a fantastic theme in a universe very close to the real. By consulting with Physics Doctors, topics like Quantum Gravity and Quantum Consciousness inspired the studies used by Daniel in the film, offering a solid enough theory to sound believable.
